- 250 gm paneer (cubed)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- 1 onion (cut into squares)
- 1 bell pepper (cut into squares)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Prepare the Marinade:
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, gram flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
Marinate the Paneer and Vegetables:
Add the paneer cubes, onion, and bell pepper into the marinade.
Gently mix to coat everything evenly.
Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Grill the Paneer:
Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
Skewer the paneer, onion, and bell pepper pieces.
Grill or bake for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with oil or ghee, until the edges are charred and the paneer is golden.
- Variation: Add mushrooms or zucchini to the skewer for extra flavor.
- Storage: Leftover tikka can be refrigerated for up to 1 day and reheated in a pan or oven.
