Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm paneer (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion (cut into squares)
  • 1 bell pepper (cut into squares)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, gram flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  • Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

Marinate the Paneer and Vegetables:

  • Add the paneer cubes, onion, and bell pepper into the marinade.
  • Gently mix to coat everything evenly.
  • Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Grill the Paneer:

  • Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
  • Skewer the paneer, onion, and bell pepper pieces.
  • Grill or bake for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with oil or ghee, until the edges are charred and the paneer is golden.

Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Variation: Add mushrooms or zucchini to the skewer for extra flavor.
  • Storage: Leftover tikka can be refrigerated for up to 1 day and reheated in a pan or oven.
  • Serving Tip: Pair with green chutney and naan for a complete meal.
