Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams paneer (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Stir-Fry Base:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
  • Add sliced onions and bell peppers, and stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly crisp.

Add Tomatoes and Spices:

  • Add sliced tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add Paneer and Sauce:

  • Gently add the paneer cubes and mix carefully to coat them with the spices.
  • Add tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the paneer is heated through and the sauce is well incorporated.

Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.

Notes

  • Variation: You can add other vegetables like mushrooms, baby corn, or green peas for added flavor and texture.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
