- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Prepare the Stir-Fry Base:
Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
Add sliced onions and bell peppers, and stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly crisp.
Add Tomatoes and Spices:
Add sliced tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add Paneer and Sauce:
Gently add the paneer cubes and mix carefully to coat them with the spices.
Add tomato sauce and stir to combine.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the paneer is heated through and the sauce is well incorporated.
