Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm prawns (cleaned and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

Marinate the Prawns:

  • In a mixing bowl, marinate the prawns with lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  • Set aside for 15 minutes.

Cook the Masala:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Add the Prawns:

  • Add the marinated prawns to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  • Add garam masala and stir well to combine.

Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.

Notes

  • Variation: You can add coconut milk to make a creamy version of Masala Prawns.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently before serving.
