- 1/4 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- Water (as needed)
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, ajwain, cumin seeds, salt, and oil.
Add water gradually to form a smooth dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Roast the Khakhra:
Heat a tawa or griddle over low heat.
Place the rolled khakhra on the tawa and press it gently with a spatula.
Flip and roast both sides until crispy and golden brown.
Store and Serve:
Cool the khakhra and store in an airtight container.
