Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm paneer (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 green chilies (slit)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh spring onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Coat the Paneer:

  • Toss paneer cubes in cornflour with a pinch of salt.
  • Shake off the excess and set aside.

Fry the Paneer:

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer until golden brown.
  • Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Sauté Vegetables:

  • In the same pan, add onions, bell peppers, and green chilies.
  • Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes to retain crunch.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • Add soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix well and cook for 1 minute.

Combine Paneer with Sauce:

  • Toss the fried paneer in the sauce mixture and stir to coat evenly.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh spring onions.
  • Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Variation: Use tofu instead of paneer for a vegan version.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat before serving.
