Ingredients for Pasta
- 2 cups pasta penne or fusilli
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
Ingredients for Masala Sauce
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes pureed
- 1 green chili finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp fresh cream or yogurt optional
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente and set aside.
Prepare the masala sauce by sautéing onions, chilies, and spices.
Mix in tomato puree, ketchup, and cream/yogurt. Cook until fragrant.
Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and toss well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
