Ingredients
  

  • 2 parathas or rotis
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • Ketchup or mint chutney (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add onions, carrots, bell peppers, and cabbage. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  • Add red chili powder, salt, and chaat masala. Mix well and remove from heat.

Warm the Wraps

  • Heat the parathas or rotis on the tawa until warm and slightly crisp.

Assemble the Roll

  • Place the vegetable filling on the paratha.
  • Add a drizzle of ketchup or mint chutney.
  • Roll the paratha tightly to form a wrap.

Serve

  • Cut the veg roll in half and serve hot with additional ketchup or chutney.

Notes

  • Variation: Add paneer or tofu for added protein.
  • Storage: The filling can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
  • Serving Tip: Serve hot with ketchup, yogurt dip, or mint chutney.
