Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup green beans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup spring onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cooking oil in a wok over high heat.
  • Add the diced carrots, bell peppers, and green beans. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they’re slightly tender but still crisp.
  • Add the cooked rice to the wok, tossing it with the vegetables.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper powder. Stir-fry everything for another 2 minutes, ensuring the rice is evenly coated.
  • Adjust salt to taste if necessary, then remove from heat.
  • Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • To add protein, consider adding tofu, paneer, or scrambled eggs.
  • Use a non-stick pan if you don’t have a wok for a similar cooking effect.
