Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes, oregano

Instructions
 

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place the sliced vegetables on the unbuttered side of two slices of bread.
  • Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and any optional seasonings over the vegetables.
  • Add grated cheese on top of the vegetables.
  • Cover with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing outward.
  • Heat a griddle or sandwich maker and cook the sandwich for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

  • Variation: Add your favorite spreads, such as hummus or mayonnaise, for extra flavor.
