- 2 cups dosa batter (fermented rice and lentil batter)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- 1 green chili (chopped)
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee (for cooking)
Heat a tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat and grease it with a little oil or ghee.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan and spread it into a thick pancake.
Sprinkle chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and coriander leaves evenly over the top.
Drizzle a little oil or ghee around the edges and cook for 2-3 minutes until the base is golden brown.
Flip the uttapam carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
