Ingredients
  

  • 300 gm paneer (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Heat the Tawa:

  • Heat oil on a tawa or flat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Cook the Veggies:

  • Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  • Add bell pepper strips and cook for 2-3 minutes, keeping them slightly crisp.

Add the Spices and Tomatoes:

  • Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  • Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates from the masala.

Add Paneer:

  • Add paneer cubes to the tawa and gently mix to coat them with the masala.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the paneer is slightly charred and well coated with spices.

Finish and Serve:

  • Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.

Notes

  • Variation: You can add mushrooms or baby corn along with the bell peppers for added flavor.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Serving Tip: Serve with a side of mint chutney for an added burst of flavor.
