Ingredients
  

  • 500g chicken breast or thighs, cut into strips
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 small tortillas or taco shells
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt mixed with cilantro chutney (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and salt. Add the chicken strips, making sure they’re well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
  • Prepare the Grill: Preheat the grill or stovetop pan on high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or pan.
  • Grill the Chicken: Grill the marinated chicken strips for 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  • Assemble the Tacos: Warm the tortillas or taco shells. Place a few strips of grilled tandoori chicken on each, and top with diced onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and a drizzle of the yogurt-cilantro mixture.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Squeeze a little lime juice over the tacos and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some chopped green chilies or a dash of hot sauce. You can also add shredded lettuce or cheese for more variety.
