Ingredients
  

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup yogurt or sour cream
  • Optional: avocado slices, salsa, or grated cheese

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the Paneer: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice. Add the paneer cubes and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  • Cook the Paneer: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated paneer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and slightly crispy.
  • Prepare the Tacos: Warm up the taco shells according to package instructions.
  • Assemble: Fill each taco shell with cooked paneer, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Top with a dollop of yogurt or sour cream and add optional toppings like avocado slices, salsa, or cheese.
  • Serve: Serve warm with a wedge of lime on the side.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra red chili powder or top with your favorite hot sauce. Paneer can also be substituted with tofu for a vegan option.
