Ingredients
  

For Masala:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1 green chili (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

For Pav:

  • 4 pav buns
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Masala:

  • Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • Cook the masala until the oil separates.

Toast the Pav:

  • Slice the pav buns in half.
  • Heat butter on the tawa and toast the pav buns until golden and crisp.

Assemble the Masala Pav:

  • Spread the prepared masala on the toasted pav.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve Hot:

  • Serve with lemon wedges for an extra tangy twist.

Notes

  • Variation: Add grated cheese on top for a cheesy masala pav.
  • Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but the masala can be stored for up to 2 days.
