For the Cheesecake:
- 500g cream cheese, softened
- 200g powdered sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp rosewater
- 6-8 Gulab Jamuns, halved or quartered
For Garnish:
- 2-3 tbsp Gulab Jamun syrup

Prepare the Crust: Combine the crushed biscuits and melted butter, pressing the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour half of the batter over the crust, layer with Gulab Jamun pieces, then add the remaining batter. Smooth the top.
Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
Chill and Serve: Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with Gulab Jamun syrup and rose petals before serving.
- Ensure the cheesecake cools completely before chilling to avoid cracks.
- Adjust rosewater to taste for a lighter or stronger floral note.
