Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm fish fillets (cut into chunks)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions
 

Marinate the Fish:

  • In a large mixing bowl, add yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  • Add the fish chunks and coat them well with the marinade. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Prepare the Skewers:

  • Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Thread the marinated fish onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Cook the Fish Tikka:

  • Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
  • Brush with oil during cooking to keep the fish moist.

Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with lemon wedges and mint chutney.

Notes

  • Variation: You can use salmon, cod, or any firm fish for this recipe.
  • Storage: Store leftover fish tikka in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Serving Tip: Serve with mint chutney or yogurt dip for an added burst of flavor.
