Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream or guacamole
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts, making sure they're evenly coated. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Once done, remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Warm the tortillas by placing them on a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side or directly over a gas flame until slightly charred.
  • Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  • To assemble, fill each tortilla with sliced chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream or guacamole.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the top and serve immediately.
