Tawa or Flat Griddle
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp activated charcoal powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup water approx.
- Ghee or butter optional, for brushing
Mix flour, activated charcoal, and salt. Gradually add water to knead into a soft dough.
Rest the dough for 20-30 minutes.
Roll out into thin rotis and cook on a tawa until puffed and golden.
Brush with ghee if desired, and serve warm.
- Store leftover dough in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
