Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Okra:
Rinse the okra thoroughly and pat it dry with a clean towel.
Trim the ends and slice the okra lengthwise.
Heat the Oil:
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Sauté the Okra:
Add the sliced okra and sauté for 8-10 minutes until it becomes crispy.
Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Add the Spices:
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Finish with Amchur:
Sprinkle amchur powder and mix gently.
Remove from heat.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or dal.
Notes
Variation:
Add onions or tomatoes to enhance the flavor.
Storage:
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 day.
