Ingredients
  

Ingredients for Baati

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup ghee melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Warm water as needed

Ingredients for Chokha

  • 1 large eggplant
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 2 medium potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped

Instructions for Baati

  • Knead wheat flour, ghee, salt, and water into a firm dough.
  • Shape into balls and bake until golden brown.
  • Dip in ghee before serving.

Instructions for Chokha

  • Roast eggplant and tomatoes until charred.
  • Mash with boiled potatoes, garlic, and chilies.
  • Mix with mustard oil, salt, lemon juice, and coriander.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels in the Chokha to your taste.
  • Serve hot for the best experience.
  • Use traditional earthen stoves for an authentic flavor.
