- 2 medium potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 green chili (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Ketchup or chutney for serving
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes.
Add chopped onions, green chili, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
Place the potato filling on the unbuttered side of two slices.
Cover with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
Toast the Sandwich
Heat a frying pan or sandwich maker on medium heat.
Place the sandwich on the pan and toast for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Flip and toast the other side for 2 minutes.
